WETLAND CARE AT ERIC ARMISHAW PARK
Start: Sat, 7 Apr 9:00am
End: Sat, 7 Apr 1:00pm
On the shoreline of the Waitemata Harbour, Eric Armishaw Park, Pt Chevalier is home to many migratory shorebirds including Little Pied Cormorant, White Faced Heron and Bar-Tailed Godwit. Over the past 2 years, volunteers have been clearing invasive weeds and replanting with native plants to provide improved habitat for these and many other species. We’d love your help today to continue this important work in a bid to bring back more birds to this and surrounding parks. Meet at 10 New North Road, Eden Terrace to catch a lift or meet us on site. Brought to you by Conservation Volunteers.
